Giving Back to the Community Through Charity, Donation, and Service.

For many years, the owners of Other Mothers Boise have been involved with charity, donation and service in the Treasure Valley community. They feel they have been given a great opportunity to support individuals and organizations. There are many organizations they have supported through their business.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • Eagle Scout projects by collecting and donating truckloads of baby furniture and equipment.
  • Volunteers serving humanitarian trips bringing clothing to orphanages in South American countries.
  • Annual Boise Rescue Mission's "Coats for Kids" drive.
  • Annual canned food drive for the community of Treasure Valley.
  • Annual toy drive at Christmas time.
  • Donating car seats and diaper bags to school districts for the Child Development course.
  • Donating the remainder of the Give Back 25¢ Sale to many various service organizations throughout Treasure Valley.
  • Freebie Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.  Everything that can fit into a large designated bag is free.  This is an annual event held on the same day as Black Friday.
  •  And, as always, the monthly Give Back 25¢ Sale for our own Treasure Valley families.
  • Recently, we volunteered and donated to support the Fabulessly Frugal Pay It Forward Community Garage Sale, which helped three families affected by cancer. Every dime was donated to the families from this fundraiser.
  • We sent 13 huge 45 gallon bags of junior clothing to the Honduras through another charity.
